This faculty capacity-enhancement course introduces the foundations and practice of critical pedagogy, drawing on critical caste studies and Paulo Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed, combined with practical training in adult learning methods — lecturing, facilitating discussion, syllabus design, questioning technique, and mentorship. Participants examine their own philosophical orientation as educators, engage critically with caste and gender in the classroom, and build applied skills through practicum sessions and peer presentations. Runs weekly, April–July 2026, at JFP Hall, Patan.
