JFP archive holds important sources and materials which are textual and of various other forms of media. We are revamping our archives to be more accessible and user-friendly to provide a full educational experience. This involves innovative use of digital technologies, print media, social media platforms and other diverse channels.
JFP has established a working faculty of nationally and internationally renowned scholars, activists and practitioners. They shall guide fellows to identify crucial questions and topics for research, learning and policy initiatives. Fellows will come out of this program with sharper observation, communication and writing skills to better articulate their views of caste equity.
JFP aims to move beyond Madesh Pradesh to support new cohorts of fellows and foster deeper collaborations throughout Nepal. We continue to adapt curricula and teaching methods for a more efficient and effective mode of support for our fellows.
The Just Futures Fellowship brings together Dalit women as knowledge producers and supports their creative and academic pursuits.
The D─Бmal Fellowship is for researchers, storytellers, artists and activists who wish to take their work a step further.
Just Futures Graduate Fellowship is a research grant annually awarded to two Dalit students of all/any genders currently undergoing a Masters degree or an MPhil degree under Tribhuvan University.
Historically, archives have documented societies and are essential to shape interpretations of the past and present which will ultimately affect the future. We have explored innovative methods of traditional and digital archiving to access and improve engagement in caste issues. This archive serves to be a public repository that documents caste issues of Nepal and beyond, with particular emphasis on materials about and produced by Dalit women and other minorities. An important feature of this initiative are open-course platforms, which specialize in fostering participation amongst Dalit individuals to be both knowledge users and producers тАУ thus our fellows and faculty members have full access to using and contributing to this repository. We hope that JFPтАЩs archive can be an important source as well as an example of inclusivity practices.
